Dhaka Army Golf Club

Army Golf Club (AGC ) is a short but very attractive course for Golfers in Bangladesh. It is being run under the supervision of Club President, at present the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army. The Club is proud of one of the spectacular and well maintained courses in the country. The course is strategically challenging and playable round the year. Despite its central location, AGC has a country side feel to it.Initially, though the course was partly barren but subsequently all the holes were newly constructed. Presently, the course is well maintained to international tournament standard. Main features of the course layout are the strategic arrangement of water hazards and bunkers including few ponds that add beauty to it. Fairways are separated by lines of coconut, betel nut, jack fruit,mango, litchi and palm trees in the course to preserve its environment, lush green and serenity. A small forest like orchard is located at the northern side on fairway three while the second and fifth fairways are shaped like dog-leg.The lake located at the north provides additional security to the course. The practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, and dedicated chipping areas.
