Sentosa Golf Club - Serapong

Superbe dessin avec beaucoup de choix stratégiques à faire. Fairways étroits et pas roulants,6300m à gérer, pas un parcours facile mais plusieurs occasions de birdie malgré tout. Greens très roulants et intéressants. Un vrai championship course! Bon, c'est chérot mais mieux vaut jouer 1 bon terrain que 2 mauvais.

The facilities at Sentosa are superb and the both the conditioning and setting of the Serapong course are second to none as it weaves its way round the sea with view or Singapore port. It is also a really tough course, especially on the front 9, and whilst I found many of these tough holes fair, some were not. The course really gets going at the 3rd, big dog-leg left down the hill with a great risk-reward over water for the 4th. The 5th and 6th, though, just gave no options for the higher handicap player and nowhere to really land a tee shot safely and still have a reasonable shot to the green. It was difficult to understand the strategy of these holes even after playing them twice each. Had these two holes not spoilt it I think it would have been a far more enjoyable course. At it was I preferred the Tanjong course.

Prachtige course met uitdagende holes en veel bunkers. Servicegraad op hoog niveau. Jammer dat de greens gezand waren en daardoor wat langzamer. Greenfee erg hoog (€ 220,-) en daarnaast is buggy ook een must.

Leuk gespeeld te hebben maar Thailand courses (Black Mountain/ Banyan - Huahin) doen daar niet voor onder. Wel mooie uitzichtpunten op haven en stad.
