Carton House Golf Club

This is my home club and I must say it is up there as probably the best golf resort in Ireland.

New ownership about 18 months ago has translated into massive investment at all levels. Clubhouse interior has been redesigned and done up (absolutely stunning) and both courses are in fantastic condition.

We have an inland links (Monty course). This is a very hard course with 125 very deep bunkers, which favours players who can fade their shot especially of the tee. This course has hosted major tournaments including 2 irish Opens.

The other course is a beautiful parkland with a stunning Amen corner where water comes into play on 14th,15th and 16th. It can break your round on a bad day. 18th is a hard finishing hole offering beautiful views on the 18th on Monty and the hotel house

Practice facilities are top class and the GUI facilities are from walking distance as on same estate.

As soon as you pass the gates of Carton House you will know you are in a very special place that you will never forget.

A great course, a true and real test. Brilliant aspects from the tee box, risk and reward par 5's for long hitters, and some fabulous approach shots. Very different to the adjacent Montgomerie course, but my preferred of the two. I love playing this every time.

Alles bij elkaar in één woord “waanzinnig”. Super mooie golfbaan, prachtig clubhuis en zeer vriendelijk personeel in restaurant en zeker de pro-shop. De baan zorgt voor alle uitdagingen die je kunt bedenken waardoor je soms creatief moet zijn met je slagen. Deze baan heeft ook een ‘Amen courner’ namelijk hole 14,15 en 16 vooral door het water. Zeer de moeite waard om te spelen!

2 campos parkland de mucho nivel a las afueras de dublin. Diseños completamente diferentes. Uno 100% parkland y otro con cierto toque a links de interior, bunkers profundo y corte tipo link. Las vistas desde la torre en el campo o’meara espectaculares. El hotel una pasada.
