Morocco has steadily built its reputation as a golf destination over recent decades, and that investment is paying off. The country's golf offering is concentrated around Marrakech, Casablanca and Agadir, and in terms of quality and setting it is attracting a growing number of international golfers. Leading Courses favourites include Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat and Amelkis Golf Club near Marrakech. Royal Golf Dar Es Salam is the most prestigious course in the country, host of the Hassan II Trophy and surrounded by a lush park landscape that you would not expect in North Africa. Amelkis Golf Club near Marrakech combines a challenging layout with views of the snow-capped Atlas mountains in the distance. Marrakech Menara Airport has direct flights from Amsterdam. The climate is excellent from October to April; summers are very hot. Spring and autumn are in our view the best periods for golf in Morocco. Greenfees are reasonable for the quality on offer.
