Golf courses in Malaysia

Malaysia has a golf offering that richly deserves its size and quality. The country has dozens of excellent courses, professionally maintained and with a service standard that consistently impresses European visitors. Kuala Lumpur and its surroundings have the highest concentration of top courses, but the country's variety extends much further — from the cool highland courses of the Cameron Highlands to the coastal layouts of Penang and Johor. Leading courses favourites include TPC Kuala Lumpur and Saujana Golf & Country Club, both in the KL region and both consistently rated among the finest in South-East Asia. The climate is tropical with a wet season varying by region, but the courses are generally playable throughout the year.
