Golf courses in Vietnam

Vietnam has built an impressive golf infrastructure in a short space of time. The country now has dozens of courses spread across its length, from Hanoi in the north to Ho Chi Minh City in the south, with a particularly strong concentration around Da Nang in the centre. Leading courses include Ba Na Hills Golf Club, designed by Luke Donald, and Montgomerie Links Vietnam, both near Da Nang and consistently rated among the finest in South-East Asia. The climate varies considerably from north to south: Da Nang and the central region are at their best from February to August. Ho Chi Minh City and the south are playable virtually year-round. Vietnam is accessible via Hanoi, Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City airports, with connections from Europe via major Asian hubs. Greenfees are very competitive by any standard. The combination of exceptional golf, extraordinary cuisine and a culture that is unlike anything in Europe makes Vietnam an increasingly compelling golf destination.
