Golf courses in Tyrol

Tyrol has a golf season that lasts only six months, but those six months are more than worth it. The courses here sit at altitudes and in surroundings that in other countries are reserved for nature alone, surrounded by peaks of more than three thousand metres and valleys that in summer are as green as anywhere in Europe. Leading Courses favourites include Golf Eichenheim in Kitzbühel and Golfpark Mieminger Plateau. Golf Eichenheim sits above the famous Kitzbühel in the Hahnenkamm area and offers views that you will find at no other golf destination in Austria. Golfpark Mieminger Plateau is another favourite: a generously laid-out course on a plateau between Innsbruck and Reutte with the Zugspitze on the horizon. Innsbruck Airport has flights from European cities. Tyrol is also accessible by car or train from Munich, two hours away. The golf season runs from May to October depending on altitude.
