Turkey has matured remarkably quickly as a golf destination. Where the country barely appeared on the golf map twenty years ago, the Belek region near Antalya has developed into one of the most complete golf destinations in Europe. The concentration of courses in this area is impressive: within a radius of a few dozen kilometres lie more than twenty courses, all well maintained and almost universally accessible to visiting golfers.
