Golf courses in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria has seven courses and they are spread across the whole island, but the best concentration is in the south, around Maspalomas and Meloneras, where the reliable sunshine and warm temperatures make year-round golf both possible and enjoyable. Anfi Tauro Golf is the island's most celebrated course — dramatically laid out in a volcanic crater near Mogán, with elevated tees and plunging fairways that make for one of the most memorable rounds in the Canaries. Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas, founded in 1891, is the oldest golf club in Spain and has a completely different character: a parkland course in the green hills above the capital that feels a world away from the resort courses of the south. Gran Canaria South Airport has direct flights from across Europe. The island's compact size means most courses are within an hour's drive of each other.
