Golf courses in Essex

Essex is rarely seen by foreign golfers as a destination in its own right, and that is understandable, but those who visit as an extension of a London trip discover a county with a surprisingly broad golf offering. The county has the longest coastline of any English county and along that coast lie a number of interesting links courses that enjoy little recognition outside the region.
