About Golf Club de Granville
Granville is a true links course situated in Normandy – perhaps the only one in France to have retained a pure duneland track. It stands alongside the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland providing a golf course true to the origins of the game. In recent years, the club has made a concerted effort to restore the natural links quality of the course by reseeding with carefully chosen grass varieties and by refurbishing the bunkers. The course celebrates its centenary in 2012 but the original design of Colt and Allsion still provides a stern test – especially if the wind blows. There are some spectacular tees giving views over the whole course and far beyond over the sea to Jersey.

Links très sympa très bien entretenu et possible de jouer en toutes saisons sauf par grand vent...
Links de bord de mer très agréable a joué des greens compliqués qui donne beaucoup de piments au jeux.
L'un des rares vrais links de France. Egalement un de mes parcours préférés car dans l'esprit du Golf originel. Un bel entretien malgré des contraintes environnementales qui en font un parcours aux fairways très secs l'été. Les rebonds y sont donc complexes à anticiper.
Tout à fait le type de parcours qu'il faut avoir pratiqué quelques fois avant d'en profiter pleinement. Les conditions météos ont pour effet d'en faire un parcours différent, selon l'axe du vent, la pluie etc...
Un seul trou que l'on pourrait juger "limite" quand joué en été : le 10. Vent dans le dos, y faire tenir une balle depuis le tee est un sacré défi.

Parcours d’un entretien parfait ; aucune eau stagnante due au terrain dunaire malgré les fortes précipitations de la semaine dernière.
Parcours particulièrement bien entretenu, jouable par tout temps et particulièrement intéressant par grand vent, ce qui se produit souvent à l’automne.
