The Championship Course The Championship Course combines features of a Scottish link with fairways and excellent greens the “American Style” as well as natural roughs. Water plays an important role from the first to the 18th hole – sometimes more, sometimes less – but you will never forget that Carinthia is the province of the lakes. Embedded in beautiful landscape and amidst historic buildings, professional players as well as beginners will find unique challenges here. The demanding 18-hole Championship Course with its 6,426 meters is one of the longest courses in Carinthia and is therefore favored by pros. The course may be relatively new (opened in 1997), but is has already been the venue of the International Austrian Amateurs Championships and is ranked 7th in the ranking of Austrian golf courses. In September 2001, the International Matchplay Championships were played here in Klagenfurt. Since 2005, the course has also been a member of the “Leading Golf Courses”.

Sehr gutes Layout. Trotz starker Regenfälle an den Tagen vor unserer Runde in gutem Zustand und von gelegentlichem Besserlegen abgesehen gut spielbar. Toller Überblick über die Löcher 9 und 18 von der Clubterrasse plus Panorama-Blick in die Ferne. Leider ist die Driving Range sehr weit vom Platz entfernt.

Baan viel erg tegen. Gastvrijheid is echt heel slecht. Ook in de baan kennen de mensen de regels niet.

Sehr schoene Fairways, Links course, gute Gruens.
Netter Empfang und Einführung Drivingrange etwas abseits. Gutes Restaurant. Preis Leistung passt.

Toller und interessanter Platz. Sehr abwechslungsreich und schwierig. Jedoch breite Fairways. Driving Rang nicht direkt am Golfplatz. Freundlich und hilfsbereit der Empfang. Tolle Terrasse vom Restaurant. Ein Muss in Kärnten.

Dieser sehr schön designte 18-Loch-Platz erinnert mich sehr an das Zalaspring-Resort in Ungarn. Schön modelierte Hügel, sehr viel Wasser, also eine golferische Herausforderung. Das Inselgrün auf Loch 8 ist top. Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt, die Grüns groß, mittelschnell und stark ondoliert. Ein 3-Putt ist also ab und zu vorprogrammiert. Nachteil für Golfer die gerne üben: Die Driving-Range ist ziemlich weit weg.
