Built in the purest tradition of modern american golf architecture by Pete Dye and PB Dye, every inch of the course is an ode to the imagination, combining respect for nature with technical flair. Imagine driving your ball over a vineyard to reach the fair way, or trying to avoid 3 large lakes on the same hole or the challenge of the biggest green in Europe? (69 meters long: on most courses that can be over half the length of the par 3’s!) It is surrounded by a park of pine and oak trees and lavender. Silence and tranquillity enable you to enjoy the natural setting and will permit you to relax fully during your visit. Een mooie uitdagende maar niet vergevingsgezinde golfbaan met veel hoogte verschillen.
Vanwege een verblijf van 4 maanden in de omgeving van Brignoles spelen we gemiddeld een a twee keer per week deze baan.
Het blijft leuk en uitdagend.
Vandaag met werkelijk zomers weer van 22* op de 18 holes baan gespeeld. De eerste 9 zijn zeer byzonder en erg uitdagend met zeer grote hoogteverschillen. We speelden met 25% korting met het GOM boekje. De 2 e 9 was veel vlakker en met mooie waterpartijen ook veel rustiger. De greens waren op elke hole uitzonderlijk snel. De buggy paden van de 2 e 9 zijn een drama en moeten nodig aangepakt worden.
Vanwege een verblijf van 4 maanden golfen we gedurende ons verblijf op deze club.
Uitdagende niet echt vergevingsgezinde holes met veel hoogteverschillen en ondulerende grens.
Een echt uitdaging om hier “ je handicap” te spelen.
Lopen kan wel maar reken op veel hoogteverschil.
Mooie baan met uitdaging voor elke handicap.
