About Hilversumsche Golf Club
Founded in 1895
The Hilversumsche Golf Club is located on the Soestdijkerstraatweg 172 in Hilversum, where a road lined with majestic beech trees welcomes you to the beautiful, 100 year old forest course.
In recent years, the course, located in the Kievitsdal, has been renovated by architect Kyle Philips, with the original landscape and aspects of the former architect Harry S. Colt being retained wherever possible.
In 2010, all renovations were completed for the Hilversumsche Golf Club to host the KLM Dutch Open for the 25th time. The KLM Open, a four day grand spectacle of championship golf, is made possible with the help of many volunteers both within and outside the club.

Dit is de eerste keer dat ik hier heb gespeeld en het was leuk. Maar door de te hoge prijs en verwachtingen heb ik toch wel wat opmerkingen. Het clubhuis zit nu tijdelijk in een keet omdat ze op dit moment een nieuw clubhuis maken. Vandaar dat ik een 6.5 heb gegeven voor clubhuis. Alles is over deze baan inmiddels wel gezegd en geschreven. Voor het eerst mogen spelen. Helaas hadden we niet de beste dag uitgekozen (veel regen en de greens waren geprikt). Desalniettemin genoten van een mooie golfbaan met dito historie. Ook heerlijk gegeten na de ronde in het nieuwe en zeer fraaie clubhuis.

De Hilversumsche is en blijft een van de topbanen in Nederland. Fairways en green in zeer goede staat. Een bosbaan die voor veel golfers voor problemen kan zorgen. Een uitdaging voor iedereen. Het nieuwe clubhuis is goed en voorzien van alle gemakken. Prima kleedkamers en sanitaire voorzieningen.
