Orsett Golf Club

Orsett G.C was founded in 1899; this magnificent championship course designed by the legendry James Braid was firmly imbedded into this piece of the Essex countryside. In the early years Orsett became a focal point for the local community to gather and enjoy their golf; even through the hard times of the two world wars. Situated within 5 miles of the M25, this fine par 72 championship course (S.S.S. 73) has a demanding layout of over 6,600 yards. Visitors are only accepted Monday to Friday after 9.30am and by prior arrangement.
