The Imperial Balaton Golf Club is located on a beautiful 70 Ha area in the western basin of lake Balaton between Hévíz and Badacsony. Our 9 hole links golf course – which will be build in the next phase to an 18 hole championship course – is a pleasant challenge by numerous scattered bunkers, tricky greens situated in untouched natural surroundings. A unique panorama view leads you hole by hole which makes your round an unforgettable golf experience. Our café & bistro as well as our private beach are looking forward to you and your non golfing friends after your round. The Golf Club Imperial, is a combination of golf and individual experiences which creates the pure Balaton feeling.

Auf der Hinfahrt ins Thermenhotel in Heviz spielten wir diesen 9-Loch-Platz. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen uns es stellte sich heraus dass die Besitzerin aus Österreich (Schörfling am Attersee) nicht weit von unserem Heimatort kommt. Sie erzählte uns dass sie den Platz selbst gebaut hat und die gesamte Pflege nur mit Hilfe ihres Sohnes, er macht die Mäharbeiten, ganz alleine macht. Leider sind schon einige Maschinen kaputt gegangen, weswegen auch die Bunker nicht in Ordnung sind. 4 Bahnen zur Erweiterung auf einen 18-Loch-Platz sind schon fast fertig. Es ist schade wenn dieser Platz nicht weiter gebaut wird, weil wir ihn für sehr ansprechend gehalten haben. Man hat von jeder Bahn einen tollen Blick auf den Balaton See. Auf alle Fälle wünschen wir der sympatischen Besitzerin viel Glück diesen Platz zu erhalten.

Fijne baan om te spelen, maar blijf op de “fairway”
Goed onderhouden fairways en greens.
Zeker een aanrader.

Sehr schönes Panorama, gepflegte Anlage, anspruchsvoll!
Sehr freundliche Clubbetreiber. Der Platz ist sehr fair, für sportlich ambitionierte und Hobbygolfer bestens geeignet.
