Atalaya Golf & Country Club has two splendid 18-hole courses, the Old Course and the New Course.
The club lies in Andalusia, between Estepona and Marbella and apart from the two 18-hole courses it also offers one of the biggest practice courses in Spain where golf classes are taught in many languages.
The Atalaya Golf Old Course offers an entertaining round which is not particularly difficult, with fast greens and beautiful views.
The Atalaya Golf New Course is close to the Old Course but faces inwards towards the mountains. Its strategic position gives it spectacular panoramic views. Atalaya Golf club is a course which is suitable for players of all levels and this has made it one of the most popular of the Costa Del Sol. Leuke golf club. Zeker voldoende parking voorzien. Vriendelijk onthaal aan de receptie. Het clubhuis zelf heeft weinig uitstraling en zeker niet de mooiste/tofste die ik al gezien heb.
Ik had online een tee time gereserveerd op de old course. Door omstandigheden kon er echter niet gespeeld worden op deze baan. Ruim op voorhand kreeg ik een alternatief uur voorgesteld op …

Mooie baan, greenfee incl troley € 81,50 pp. Mooie greens en al bij al niet makkelijk. Clubhuis was niet in gebruik dus het biertje nadien hebben we elders gedronken?.

Goede morgen Heer Hering, Dank U wel voor de punten en beoordeling van Atalaya Golf. Atalaya heeft twee zeer goede banen, the Old is volledig gemakkelijk te lopen met lange en brede fairways. De New is korter en heuvelachtig met practige blikken op de zee en Gibraltar. Clubhuis is normaal van 10h tot 20.00h open en Kiosk van 7.45h tot 18.30h open in deze wintertijd met minder zonlich. Baan is mooi gelegen, echter zijn de holes te dicht op elkaar, waardoor er mogelijk een gevaar voor spelers kan ontstaan.
Erg heuvelachtig, geen baan om zonder buggy te spelen.

Goede morgen en dank je wel voor uw positieve comentaar. Heb gisteren juist de New Course met electro trolley gespeeld s´avonds en is goed te doen. Maar ja, sneller en beter met buggy te spelen. Hebben de laatste 20 jaar maar één ongeluk gehad of the New Course, namelijk of tee 1. Lijkt gevaar maar is helemaal ongevaarlijk te spelen. Groeten en nogmaals dank U wel.
