Situated 14 Km from Marbella in a valley surrounded by hills with magnificent views of the coast, it was designed with great attention to detail by Gary Player and Kirby. The Paraiso golf club’s designers laid out the course to take advantage of the slope of a hill which runs down to the sea. The fairways are quite wide, but you have to attack them quite carefully, because the roughs are dangerous traps. The water hazards play an important role, both for the beauty they add to the course and because of the dangerous streams lying hidden in the roughs. Mooie brede fairways, goed onderhouden, gelegen in fraaie omgeving.
Receptie zou iets vriendelijker mogen, zoals we eigenlijk overal in Andalusië gewend zijn.

Meget smuk og god oplevelse. En bane med god variation på de enkelte huller og sværheds grad lidt over middel.
Bane er i meget fin stand fra tee sted til green. Pænt og ordentligt over det hele.
Trænings faciliteter ikke det bedste, men det er der.
Wederom is de staat van onderhoud van deze mooie baan weer beneden peil, niet netjes gemaaid.
Op diverse Holes werkzaamheden waardoor Holes of ingekort of verlegd zijn. Rommelig waardoor geen prettige herinnering na het spelen op deze baan. Bij een goed management kan hier veel verbeterd worden.

Gastvrije baan. Zeer druk bezocht. Prima uitgebreide golfwinkel met veel aanbiedingen. Goede service van de caddymaster die de te trage golfers in de gaten hield en aanspoorde. Buggy niet nodig. Lekker gelopen. Alles dicht bij elkaar. Snelle greens en een paar heerlijke afslagen de diepte in. Hier en daar verdwijnen de ballen in de waterhindernissen maar deze zijn weer goed terug te vinden. Papegaaien vliegen rond de palmbomen. Prima baan. Ik ga zeker terug.
