About Lisbon Sports Club
The Lisbon Sports Club is located in Serra da Carregueira, Belas, circa 20 kilometres from Lisbon. The 18 hole course is one of the most original in the whole country: it is nested in a valley, making the most of the plains situated on the north side of the mountains. Since 1992 the LSC it prides itself on 18 holes, PAR 69, over 5,261 meters, with an extremely rich and beautiful forest biodiversity and a striking brook which runs throughout the entire course. The itinerary's layout is that of a typical Scottish golf course. Inaugurated in 1964, with nine holes designed by Hawtree & Sons, it was initially extended to 14 and finally to 18. The holes are characterized by an assortment of different designs, which implies a range of different and interesting game possibilities. Some holes encompass criss-crossing paths, allowing golfers to intermingle along the course.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, matige kleine driving range, kon geen putting green vinden. Onderhoud baan matig, borden tussen de holes ontbreken soms, alles wat belegen. Ook onze buggy bezweek halverwege. Een buggy is wel ten zeerste aan te raden, grote afstanden tussen holes over slechte paden heuvel op en af. De baan kampt ook met te weinig ruimte, meerder holes kruisen elkaar. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.

Beautiful wide fairway, well kept and what is better than playing golf with the sun shining constantly. The staf is kind and hospitalty is kind and warm. You can feel the history of this club and although some reviews mentions that it is outdated, this is what playing golf in another country means.. The menu in the restaurant is small but what they offer is great.
The only remark is that while playing other golfers are crossing your path, which feels a bit chaotic.
Tip; When you play 9 holes, the reception offers 12 holes as the clubhouse is far away from the nineth hole.
Please make the teeboxes more proper!

Beautiful screenplay, the greens have a very stable role!
Flexibel aardig personeel. Prima baan, prachtige greens, goed onderhouden. Heerlijk gespeeld, lekkere brede fairways (niet allemaal). Aanrader.

Mycket trevlig bana. Konditionen på fairway och greener var fantastisk. Grön och mycket tät. Fantastiskt bemötande, mycket trevlig personal överallt, från restaurang till banpersonal. Många spektakulära hål med fina vyer.
