On arrival take time to enjoy a snack whilst relaxing in our lounge which provides a lovely view over the 2nd and 18th greens and beyond. After checking with the starter, proceed to the course with its gently rolling terrain to negotiate tree-lined fairways and putt over the beautifully presented greens which have been a trademark of Thornton for many years.

Played an outing at Thornton September 2019 with the course in excellent condition. It's a parkland course with tight tree lined fairways (sacrificed accuracy for distance so it was a 3 wood off the tee for me), there are a couple of challenging dog legs with a number of greens well protected by bunkers.
Facilities were excellent, club house staff really friendly with go…
